Introducing New Training Courses for 2017

Posted on 18/01/2017

Norfolk Dental Specialists are pleased to offer a new series of training courses for 2017. Available to all of our referring dentists, our workshops and events are a great opportunity to gain specialist knowledge and skills, explore additional revenue streams, and gain CPD time credits – all completely free. And this year, we have expanded the courses we offer to include hygienists, nurses and practice managers.

We value the relationships we have developed over the last ten years of working as a referral practice for Norfolk and Suffolk’s General Dental Practitioners. Providing these courses is our way of thanking them for their support, helping them to maintain patients once they have been returned back to their care after specialist treatment with us.

Dentist Training Courses

When we came to develop our courses for 2017, we asked our referring dentists what they wanted more of from us. Many of them told us they would like us to support and inspire other members of their team – so that’s exactly what we’ve done. This year, we are welcoming all dental staff to benefit from our courses in enhanced nursing skills, advanced hygiene techniques and management development workshops.

And of course, our referring dentists will be able to attend four workshops that provide an introduction to restoring dental implants in practice. Over 50 General Dental Practitioners have taken this course, and they’ve told us that it was fascinating and practical, and really helped them to develop their abilities.

All of our courses are held at our state-of-the-art training suite in our Norwich premises. As we well know, dental practitioners are busy people, so our courses begin with registration at 6.15pm for a 6.30pm start. The exception to this are our two update events, which have nearly outgrown our current venue capacity! These very popular events are an opportunity for general dental practitioners and dental staff to meet, network and talk to suppliers. We schedule lectures from three of our specialists, with Q&A sessions throughout and refreshments provided.

We’re part of the Norfolk and Suffolk dentistry community, and it’s important to us that we support local practitioners to develop their knowledge and enjoy being connected. Throughout 2017, we will be continuing work to bring our referring dentists even more training, events and opportunities.
