The first in a series of articles tells readers the truth about gum disease: the major cause of tooth loss. The column will be a monthly feature focussing on all aspects of dental care.

Local Magazine

Let’s Talk is a local magazine focussing on issues and events that are of interest to the residents of East Anglia. The magazine is part of the prestigious Archant family of publications that includes the Eastern Daily Press and the East Anglian Daily Times. Since its launch in 2002, Let’s Talk has quickly gained a wide and loyal readership among its target audience of the over 50s – making it the ideal vehicle for spreading the word in Norfolk about maintaining oral health.

Regular Feature

Hamed’s dental care articles will appear in every edition of the monthly magazine. The current edition sees Hamed tackle the important subject of periodontal disease. Future articles will look at dental implants, root canal treatments and good hygiene practices.

Dr Hamed Karimi said:

“We are delighted to be a regular contributor to Let’s Talk, a local magazine dedicated to the Norfolk region. It resonates with us, as we serve the city and county, taking-in referred and self-referring patients for specialist treatment. Many of our patients are readers, so it’s a synergistic fit. It also provides a portal for us to help people with their dental and oral health issues, so that they can make informed decisions about seeking private dental treatment.

We want to cover all the key elements associated with our specialist areas of periodontal, dental implants and other advanced treatment options as well as educate and promote the benefits of maintaining excellent oral health at whatever age you are. We are very proud of the level of expertise our associates, hygienists and nurses have attained. And we are particularly proud of the feedback we receive in their commitment and empathy in dealing with nervous and fearful patients; in fact our mantra is ‘we simply do not allow pain’. The magazine is an excellent way for us to be able to share our experiences and also to support the great work of the three hundred plus local dentists who are looking after the county’s teeth and gums.”
