In the interests of promoting excellent oral health, it is essential that all professionals working in our field have access to the very best training available. All dentists and clinicians at Norfolk Dental Specialists undergo continuous training to make sure that their skills are up-to-date. In addition to this, we host evenings that contribute to the training of our colleagues in the field of dentistry. This October, we are hosting two events that will contribute to attendees’ CPD hours. The first is the latest of our popular hygienist workshops. The second is one of the major events in the Norfolk Dental Specialists calendar: The Periodontal and Endodontic Update.

Thursday 12th October: Hygienists’ Workshop

Our popular hygienist workshops focus on advanced hygiene techniques. This workshop has been specially tailored for dental hygienists and attendees will earn an hour and a half of CPD. The course takes place at our Practice Surgery at 6.15pm on 12th October.

Tuesday 17th October: Periodontal and Endodontic Update

This event has proved so popular that we have had to hire a bigger venue! Join us in the Assembly Rooms on Theatre Street in Central Norwich for an evening that includes lectures from our dental specialists and the chance to network and socialise with colleagues from the industry and representatives from dental implant suppliers. GDPs who attend the event will be able to claim 2 hours of verifiable CPD.

Team members Daniel Vaz de Souza and Aaron Lopez will be delivering the lectures on Endodontics and Periodontics respectively.

  • Daniel Vaz de Souza is a qualified Specialist in Endodontology. He is a dedicated root canal specialist and a clinical teacher of Endodontics at King’s College London.
  • Aaron Lopez has completed a three-year postgraduate programme in Periodontology at Gothenburg University. He has published research on epigenetics and periodontal disease.

If you are interested in attending either the hygienist workshop or our event in the Assembly Rooms, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. You can call our reception on 01603 632525 or email teresa@ndspecialists.uk.
