Nelsons journey our new charity of the year

As you might be able to tell from the name of our practice, we are a company with Norfolk roots. When we were choosing a charity of the year for 2018, we all felt it was very important that we support a local charity that was directly supporting people from our county. We chose Nelson’s Journey – a Norfolk-based charity that supports children who have experienced the death of someone significant in their life.

Nelson’s Journey

The charity’s vision is to enable every bereaved child in Norfolk to look forward to a positive future and to empower each child to reach their full potential. They summarise their ambition as: 'bringing back smiles' - a sentiment that obviously resonates with us.

Patient Involvement

We want our patients to feel involved in supporting this incredibly important charity. We’ve come up with two ways that they can help that won’t cost them a penny. For every Google review that we receive from a patient, we’ll donate £25 to Nelson’s Journey on their behalf! We’ll also donate £25 on behalf of every patient who refers a friend for treatment with us. All reviews and recommendations will be raising money for this fantastic cause.

Hamed Karimi, our Lead Clinician and Director, says:

"We are delighted to announce our charity for 2018 is Nelson's Journey. We always support Norfolk based charities and it was a unanimous vote from the team this year, as we are so impressed by the work they do in supporting bereaved children and teenagers during such a difficult time of their lives."

We’ll be fundraising throughout the year so keep an eye on Facebook and Twitter to see what we’re up to and how you can get involved.
