For people with broken or missing teeth, taking part in the sociable feasting that we associate with the Christmas break may not have been a pleasurable experience. If you found yourself avoiding certain Quality Street, chewing your Christmas dinner on one side, or swilling the postprandial brandy around a sensitive cavity – make it your new year’s resolution to get your teeth fixed.

The Life Enhancing Effects of Implant Surgery

An implant is a small titanium screw that is implanted in a patient’s jaw during a minor surgical procedure. The titanium bonds to the jawbone, creating an artificial root to which a crown or bridge can be anchored. Patients who have had this treatment testify to its life-changing effects.

Initial Consultation

Your journey to better teeth will begin with an initial consultation with our implant specialist who will check your overall dentition and gum health to ensure you are suitable for dental implants. we also offer complimentary non-clinical consultations with our Patient Care Advisor who can talk you through the treatment. Naturally, you’ll be able to get any questions you may have answered by an experienced dentist.

Treatment plan

Following your initial consultation, you will be given a personal treatment plan, detailing expected timings, what the procedure involves, along with the overall costs. Costs will be fully explained with no hidden surprises and a payment plan can be offered to help you spread out the cost.

Treatment and Aftercare

When you’ve agreed the treatment plan, we will arrange an appointment for your implant to be placed. Once this has had time to heal, impressions will be taken to build your new replacement tooth/teeth. Just like your natural teeth, implants require a lot of care. Our hygienist will show you the correct oral hygiene techniques, including the use of interdental brushes.

By the end of 2019, your missing teeth could all be replaced and your mouth could be restored to full functionality ready for you to enjoy the indulgences of the festive season.
