The James Paget University Hospital in Great Yarmouth employs over 3000 NHS staff caring for a catchment population of 230,000. University hospitals are fully functional hospitals that also offer training facilities. Many medical students from the University of East Anglia learn on placement at the James Paget. The training facilities are also made available for training staff from local dentist practices. A new timetable of Dental Courses has recently been published. They are organised by Dental Tutor Jan Lindsay and funded by a grant from Health Education: East of England.
